Throughout life, everyone will face times of personal crisis, difficulty, illness, or relationships that are strained or broken. It’s during these times that we all need comfort and to have others walk with us. The Care Ministry provides various helpful resources, services, and trained volunteers to help you during those times. If you need counseling, prayer, benevolence, visitation, handyman services, or marriage/premarital counseling, please fill out the form below.

MARRIAGE

Our mission is to help every couple have a God-honoring and thriving marriage that impacts others for generations. Ephesians 5:22-33; Genesis 2:18, 24

Most marriages start out romantic and about loving to be together, but as most couples will tell you, drifting apart, later on, is not only easy, it happens to most married couples. Job demands, kids, and busy lifestyles get in the way. In fact, 80% of married couples say that they are surviving but are not thriving in their marriage.  We want to come alongside you before things get really difficult and give you the tools and attention to help you connect consistently deeper and have a God-honoring marriage.

PRAYER

Our mission is to make sure everyone is cared for, and that no one walks alone. Galatians 6:10; Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 and Acts 2:44-45

Here at Southbrook, we believe in prayer being an integral part of a believer’s walk and we have various ways that we offer the opportunity to receive and also participate in prayer.

Weekend services are an essential part of our corporate worship experience and as a part of our time together, we have a prayer team comprised of members who are available to pray with you before, or after the service each week.  They are ready and willing to pray with you for anything you may need to pray through. In addition to times of corporate prayer, we have times of guided prayer and the opportunity to seek out a prayer team member to pray with you.

We have a team who pray over any needs which come to our attention outside of a weekend service. If you have an emotional, physical, or practical need you are welcome to utilize either the cards located in various places in the building or go online and fill out a request form about your specific need.  We would be happy to pray for you! Prayer Gathering | Wednesdays 6:30-8:30 PM

If you want to gather for corporate prayer, join us on Wednesdays.

COMMUNITY

Our mission is to promote and model personal, as well as corporate prayer by placing dependence on God and experiencing life-giving, deeper intimacy with God. We will be a church that prayerfully seeks God for things only He can do and gets the glory for. II Chronicles 7:14; Isaiah 56:7; James 5:16; Mark 1:35 and Luke 7:9

Volunteers are available to visit those who are hospitalized or undergoing surgery. Our goal is to provide a Southbrook presence, offer prayers of faith, and share words of encouragement.

  • Sometimes, we are in need of meals due to the different trials in life. We have a team of volunteers in place to prepare those meals and deliver them to you.

  • Handy people provide tangible improvements in the lives of others. These volunteers assist with small repairs within homes or vehicles that one cannot complete alone.

COUNSELING

Our mission is to come alongside people in need of various forms of counseling and discover together how God wants to be glorified in these circumstances. Romans 7:18; Philippians 2:1; Lamentations 3:40; James 5:16 and Galatians 5:13, 6:1
