This team of men and women are trained to respond to emergency situations, helping us keep services and events running smoothly for our members and guests. Looking for individuals who are friendly, First Aid/CPR/AED certified, familiar with an EpiPen, and have medical or military/law enforcement experience. Requires two to four
hours per weekend, one Sunday per month, and at least one event per month. Ages 18+
Looking for friendly, outgoing, assertive individuals to make the first impression on Southbrook’s guests. This team works with our off-duty officers to help direct traffic and greet arriving families. Parking

One of the ways we like to make new guests feel welcome is by offering complimentary coffee and refreshments, with any donations going to our Missions and Outreach ministry. Looking for individuals who are friendly
and willing to participate in additional training for setup/cleanup. Requires two to four hours per week, one Sunday per month. Ages 12+ (children serve with families)
Greeters are on the front lines of our team. Greeters can have several responsibilities, from opening doors to answering questions. Our warm, friendly greeters help set the stage for making guests feel more at home
when they visit Southbrook. Looking for individuals that are friendly and outgoing. Requires two to four hours per weekend, one or two Sundays per month. Ages 15+
Once guests enter the auditorium, our ushers direct them to open seats if needed, or help them find their already seated family and friends. Ushers also help receive our weekly tithes and offerings during service.

Southbrook Students' Worship
Our worship team helps those in attendance submit their hearts and minds to Jesus before hearing the lesson for the night. Looking for experienced musicians and vocalists who are able to harmonize. Requires attendance each Wednesday starting at 4:30PM, and various Sundays to learn new songs starting at 12:45PM-1:20PM. Ages 13+
Southbrook Kids' Worship Leaders
Each of our age groups needs someone to lead them in a time of worship. Looking for experienced musicians, vocalists, or storytellers. Requires serving at both services, once a month. Mature teens or adults.
This team supports our Worship Leader and helps to lead our congregation in worship by singing and passionately worshiping God. Looking for individuals who can naturally hear harmony parts and are
comfortable on stage. Vocalists serve at both 9:00AM and 11:00AM services one or two times per month, and attend Thursday evening rehearsals at 7:00PM during their scheduled weeks. Ages 16+
Looking for skilled musicians that can read chord charts and play to click/loop. Band members serve at both the 9:00AM and 11:00AM services one or two times per month, and attend Thursday evening rehearsals at 7:00PM during their scheduled weeks. Ages 16+
Looking for experienced sound engineers to mix live sound during our weekend services and other events. Ideally, these individuals are familiar with both analog and digital sound consoles and have a good working knowledge of signal path, gain structure, equalization, etc. Sound Team members serve at both 9:00AM and 11:00AM services one or two times per month, and attend Thursday evening rehearsals at 7:00PM during their scheduled weeks. Ages 16+
The Count Team is responsible for counting all tithes and offerings. Each week working as a team they collect funds, prepare reports and deposit slips. Team members must be able to maintain a high level of
confidentiality and reliability, and must have a consistent history of tithing. Looking for detail oriented, systematic individuals that feel confident with Excel, data entry, calculators, and counting. Count Team members serve one or two Sundays per month, attend the 9:00AM service, and serve from 10:45AM-12:45PM. Ages 18+
Looking for individuals with the gift of administration and the ability to prioritize to complete the necessary tasks that help the office function on a daily basis. Receptionists are responsible for: greeting guests, notifying appropriate staff of visitors for appointments, answering phones, delivering messages, completing the daily tasks checklist, and assisting with any administrative duties that present themselves during the day. Schedule needs are M-Th 9AM-12PM, 1PM-4PM; Sun 10:30AM-11AM, 12PM-12:30PM. Availability for only one day and time slot is ok. Ages 18+
No one has a perfect marriage, but our mentors have marriages that are growing, stable, and model biblical principles. Mentors do not need to be professional counselors, but rather love to help other couples become all they could be. Looking for couples who have been married for at least 10 years with a strong biblical foundation, scriptural knowledge, the ability to listen, ask great questions, and move a couple down a path of healthiness.
Sunday Morning Prayer Team
Each Sunday morning during the 9:00am worship service, individuals gather for an hour of prayer. The team prays for the service, special needs, each ministry of the church, our community, and anything that the Spirit prompts us to. Looking for prayer warriors, or anyone who wants to become one. Requires an hour on Sundays based on availability. Adults 19+
Public Prayer Team
This team prays over those who come forward for prayer at the end of each worship service. Looking for individuals that have a heart for intercession. Requires up to thirty minutes after each service on Sundays based on availability. Mature adults.
