In partnership with World Vision, we, as a student ministry, are going without food for 30 hours to raise funds for kids who are hungry around the world. MS & HS students are invited to open their eyes to the reality of global poverty. In addition to the 30-hour fast, we will come together on the evening of the 22nd for prayer and worship while engaging in different ways with realities worldwide and even in our backyards. We’ll sleep at the church, and then on Saturday morning, we’ll serve in the community with Heart for Monroe. Following that, we’ll all break our fast together. As a side note, the full fast is for ages 13 and up. Younger middle schoolers are welcome to participate, but we will have them do a modified fast. The event was a success last year, and we're excited to do it again with more students!
