Community Shelter of Union County

Serve Opportunity: Cooking and Serving Lunch. This opportunity allows us to serve the homeless community in Monroe by providing lunch and interacting with the community while serving food. The main tasks are cooking, serving food, and cleaning up the kitchen afterward.
Date: September 19
Time Commitment: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Volunteers needed: 10 (minimum age for kids is 10 years old)

Heart for Monroe- The Closet

Serve Opportunity: We will be partnering with Heart for Monroe to host a weekend shopping day for the community. We will be bagging items, handing out food, sorting throuhg/hanging clothing, and most importantly building relationships with members of the community.

Arborbrook Christian Academy

Serve Opportunity: Outdoor Projects. We will be helping the school stain their new fence and picnic tables.

Serve Opportunity: Outdoor Project: We will be repainting the school's 4-square lines and helping with the fence project.

Serve Opportunity: Gardening and Landscape Projects, including flower bed prep and clean out. This opportunity allows us to serve retired global partners at their residences.
