Discipleship Survey

As the true extent of the devastation in western North Carolina and other affected areas has become clear, the scale of the need is overwhelming. As a result, there continues to be great opportunity for followers of Jesus to show His love, care and compassion to those who are hurting. We want to be both wise and effective in our response and will therefore focus our efforts on partnering with known and trusted organizations who have the expertise and experience to have the greatest possible impact. We are encouraging everyone to pray, give and volunteer.

Pray

Pray for peace, comfort and provision for those who have lost loved ones, belongings,
property and livelihoods.

Pray for safety, skill and wisdom for those involved in search, rescue and relief efforts.

Pray for many to experience God’s love and respond to the Gospel in the midst of such
difficult circumstances.

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people
light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the
house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your
good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16 ESV
