A way to fulfill our mission of making disciples who make a big deal of Jesus where we live, learn, work, and play is by walking out our faith and sharing the gospel with our local community. Living out the Great Commission of making disciples requires us to live out the Great Commandment of loving God and loving others. Philippians 1:27 / Matthew 28:19-20 / Matthew 22:37-39
There are a variety of opportunities for us to engage in our mission:
Supporting One-Another
As Christ–followers, we seek to serve rather than to be served. Our eyes are always open to opportunities to help others in ways both big and small, outside the walls of the church as well as inside.
Walk it Out:
- Ask for prayer regarding a specific person or opportunity you are engaged in
- Tangibly bless someone you are in community with who is in need
- Come alongside a neighbor to help them with a project in their house/yard
There are many ways, but these are just a few!
Sharing the Gospel
At the heart of the Gospel is God’s desire to rescue lost people. Our mission is to make disciples by boldly demonstrating and proclaiming the message of the Gospel wherever and whenever possible.
Walk it Out:
- Make a list of people you want to share the Gospel with, and begin to pray for them and that opportunity
- Sign up for the next evangelism equip class
