CARE TRIP

HIGHLY SENSITIVE: Many details will not be publicly stated due to protection and safety for the missionaries involved. Additional questions can be directed to the team leader.
MISSION PARTNER: International Mission Agency
FOCUS: This will be an opportunity to directly provide care to missionary families serving in restricted areas. We will care for these missionaries as a third party by creating an environment for them to feel safe, seen, and soothed. There will be a daily session in the mornings to engage adults and children separately, with time available in the afternoons for missionaries to receive private pastoral care or professional counseling as individuals, couples, or families. This will be a pilot for the mission agency to determine the value of this model and the potential role and involvement of other local churches in the future.
PARTICIPANTS: Some specialized roles, some support roles.
SPECIALIZED ROLES: At least 4-6 professionally trained counselors, 3-4 people experienced serving Third Culture Kids, and 3-4 pastors.
SUPPORT ROLES: People to help organize activities, ministry supplies, and serve children.
COST: TBD (Will be determined by the end of the year.)
