Operation Christmas Child provides God's love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ
When the tangible becomes intentional, it changes hearts!

A homemade fishing kit is a great gift to pack in an OCC shoeboxes. Since we are packing for boys, aged 10-14, in many countries they are of age to help provide for their family. These fishing kits provide two purposes: it provides the opportunity for the individual to provide food for his family as well as provide an resource for his family because the fish can be sold/traded within the village or at a local market in order to purchase/obtain necessary family needs.
For our kits, we will be using recycled pill bottles. Please bring your empty bottle to the church for drop off. Also, if you plan to make fishing kits at home, please do not add a nail clipper. There will already be one in the shoebox.
