Our values are the “what” of our ministry because they articulate the means by which we fulfill
our mission.
God Exalting Worship
While many other things compete for our affections, we were designed by God to worship only Him. We are committed to worshiping God not only on Sunday mornings, but in how we conduct our lives every day. Psalms 99:5 / Psalms 138:2
Gospel-Centered Preaching
The Gospel is the biblical message that embodies everything God has done for us through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. All of our teaching boldly and unapologetically focuses on this message in order to instruct us and motivate us forward in our discipleship journey. 1 Corinthians 1:23, 2:1-2 / 2 Timothy 4:2
Authentic-Biblical Community
God created us to live in community with one another. As followers of Jesus, we engage in relationship with like-minded Christ–followers who will encourage us, challenge us, and provide for us loving accountability as we continue on our path of discipleship. In short, we’re convinced that what God does in our lives, He often does through one another. And what God does in the life of another, He does through me. Acts 2:42-47 / Hebrews 10:24-25
Extravagant Generosity
In response to God’s generosity towards us, we seek to be lavishly generous, not only with our finances, but with our time, our attention, our resources — our lives. John 3:16 / 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 / 1 Timothy 6:18
Sacrificial Service
As Christ–followers, we seek to serve rather than to be served. Our eyes are always open to opportunities to help others in ways both big and small, outside the walls of the church as well as inside. Mark 10:45 / Colossians 1:29 / Philippians 2:5-8
Radical Witness
At the heart of the Gospel is God’s desire to rescue lost people. His primary method of rescue is the Body of Christ—every Believer. Our mission is to make disciples by boldly demonstrating and proclaiming the message of the Gospel wherever and whenever possible. Romans 5:8 / 1 Peter 3:15-16 / 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 / John 3:16
Prayerful Dependence
Prayer draws us into greater intimacy with God through praise, thanksgiving, and listening. Of course, we also bring our requests to God. In all things, prayer acknowledges our utter dependence on God. Mark 1:35 / Acts 2:42 / Ephesians 3:20-21 / 1 Thessalonians 5:17 / Hebrews 11:1-6
