Lifeline Children Services' mission is to equip the Body of Christ to manifest the gospel to vulnerable children. There are several ways to get involved: something everyone can do, something most can do, and something some can do.

  1. Something EVERYONE can do: PRAY- Several children are waiting for their forever families. If you would like a prayer card to pray for one of these specific children, email contact@southbrook church.com.
  2. Something MOST can do: SPONSOR a child in one of our unadopted life skills programs- https://lifelinechild.org/?s=&post_type=children-sponsor
  3. Something SOME can do: Inquire about international adoption-160 million orphans in the world. Less than 1 % are getting adopted. If you would like to have a conversation about adoption, email contact@southbrookchurch.com.

My Favorite Family Recipe | On Eagles Wings

My Favorite Family Recipe: Share your favorite recipes with our girls.

Our resident survivors prepare and eat their meals together each day.  They learn valuable cooking skills and share the goodness of sitting around the table together. Your donations to our Favorite Family Recipe program greatly help us offset the financial costs of operating our Safe House. More importantly, sharing your Favorite Family Recipe with our girls makes them feel loved and cared for.

Who Can Help? This campaign is designed to work for individuals, churches, civic organizations, study groups, life groups, schools, and staff teams within corporations.

How Does It Work?

First: Set a goal for the number of dinner meals your team would like to provide. Each meal bag (based on your favorite recipe) should feed 8 - 10 girls.  Our girls also make and eat breakfast and lunch together, but based on the perishable nature of those meals, we greatly appreciate gift cards to purchase those meal items.

Second: Fill one or more bags of groceries with the ingredients to make your favorite family recipe.  Include or attach the recipe to the bag.  If your recipe includes perishable items such as dairy, fresh veggies/fruits, or meats, enclose a gift card to a chain grocery store (Walmart or Food Lion preferred), and the girls will buy the items when they select your bag to prepare their meal.

Third: Set a date - coordinate with your group and notify On Eagles Wings of your plan.

Our girls love making a meal based on your favorite recipe!  It feels like love in a bag, and each recipe goes into a personal recipe box for each girl!

One Small Request: Would you like to eat spaghetti 6 nights a week? No? Neither do our kids, so thank you sincerely for being creative with your recipe choices.

This is a program that you can get creative with.  Make a dinner meal bag(s), buy gift cards for a local chain grocery store for breakfast and lunch meals, or a combination thereof.  Have fun, and know that you are greatly benefitting the life of a survivor of human trafficking!
