We have an opportunity to join in something really fun together, reach out to our neighbors, and change the lives of children worldwide! On Saturday, May 18, we will host World Vision’s Global 6K for Water!

About 800 children die every day from not having access to clean water--that’s more than AIDS and Malaria combined.

The average distance kids walk for water that slowly kills them is six kilometers, about 3.7 miles. It keeps them out of school, and it makes them even more vulnerable to kidnapping and trafficking because, most of the time, they walk alone.

Every person who signs up for the Global 6K provides lasting clean water to a child in need and removes that barrier from their life, allowing them to pursue the fullness of life God desires.

You can walk, run, push a stroller, or even crawl. ANYONE can do this!

Do you not want to walk, run, or roll? We need volunteers to help hand out water and cheer the others on! Sign up here to volunteer.
