Part of the vision God has given us is to multiply our Gospel influence by planting independent, self-sustaining churches. Planning for our first, in Indian Land, South Carolina, is well underway.
Hear from our Church Plant Lead Pastor
After an extensive search process and much prayer, in October 2023, we announced that Gentry Eddings will be the Lead Pastor of our first church plant! He is an incredibly gifted and experienced leader who is strongly aligned with Southbrook's beliefs, values, and culture.
Gentry holds an M.A. in Christian Thought and will shortly earn an M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He has served in various staff roles at Forest Hill Church over the past 14 years, most recently as Campus Pastor at their Ballantyne location.

Next Steps
In advance of our launch date, the church plant congregation will begin gathering for worship services and forming Community Groups. Details of our next gathering are as follows:

- June 15 at 5:00 pm Southland Church Gathering at Indian Land Middle School
- July 14 at 10:00 am Southland Church First Sunday
